Facial Recognition and Social Networking

I was talking to someone at a party recently about facial recognition being used in combination with social networking and the other information available online. Which is either awesome or scary, depending on your point of view. Anyway, I came across this pretty cool demo video from The Astonishing Tribe.

The concept is to basically use the camera on your mobile phone to analyze and recognize the face of a person and to associate that face with their facebook page, linkedin profile, youtube channel, or whatever.
